The hotel is not exactly set in a peaceful environment like other Springhill Suites or Towneplace Suites hotels of the same 3-star rating, yet the rooms provide everything you need including a coffee maker, separate seating area, and a desk. However, the service varied from an absolute letdown to listening but not being able to do more. The location is ideal for business or leisure in San Diego, offering various restaurant options but can get rowdy with alcohol nearby. The dining experience left much to be desired, even though the free morning breakfast was decent. Overall, the hotel is in a business area on a hill but close to Legoland with a good mix of nearby eateries.
